Cyclops does not have an attach command. The daemon watches the sessions in $CYCLOPS_HOME/config.toml, and cyclops start creates or restores a workspace session and asks the running daemon to watch it.

Watch sessions at daemon startup

Restart cyclopsd after changing sessions:
sessions is the daemon’s boot set. A workspace created while the daemon is running can be watched immediately without rewriting the file, but only the sessions listed in the file return after a daemon restart.

Open a named workspace in a named session

If the session does not exist, Cyclops restores the saved review workspace or builds the duo preset. If it already exists, Cyclops leaves its layout untouched.

Name existing panes

cyclops status lists watched panes, including unnamed ones by tmux pane id:
Naming a pane gives it a stable message address. Cyclops never writes the pane title because titles are detection sensors; its decoration appears on the pane border instead.

Stop watching

cyclops daemon stop stops observation and delivery without killing tmux or rewriting the ledger. The next cyclops start starts the daemon again. Use tmux itself to attach or detach terminals:
